At the vestry retreat in January, we were talking about the mission and ministry of St. Mark's - not just in the short term - but for the long run. In the midst of that conversation, a great clarifying question was asked: why would someone give to St. Mark's?
That question has been rolling around in my head since January, because it cuts right to the heart of it. It's a question that speaks of value. And worth. And it speaks of "giving to St. Mark's" in terms that are about more than money.
