The lighting was surreal; I wish cameras were more capable of picking it up.

What time of day is this? It always freaks me out when it's 5 in the afternoon or something and a storm is about to come - everything gets so dark and it feels like it's 10pm.

this reminds me of hurricane rita

i live in houston. and last september was when Hurricane Rita was gonna hit us. i remember filming my neighborhood the day it was going to hit. then the next day after it hit we decided there was no point to film the "after" part because litterally nothing happened except some leaves on the ground. what a scam!

Before a storm is a great time to be outside. There's such a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air.

I like the lights on the bridge and all around. Twilight is nice.

I watched that one come in over the gowanus canal and all I could think was "Gee whish I had my camera with me so I could put the lightening strikes on Vimeo"... then I thought... "Hey I'm going to die"... then I went inside and watched from a window.

P.S. where are you? Looks sort of Dumbo ish... but what are those big loading cranes? or is that the williamsburgh bridge?
