The Derby/Shelton Rotary club held its annual football luncheon for senior members of the Derby and Shelton High School football and cheer leading squads two days prior to their annual Thanksgiving Day football game. John Saccu, a member of Derby High's undefeated state championship team from 1969, was the invited "alumni" speaker from derby High School, and this is his stirring talk at the luncheon.
