Special thanks to all of the talented actors, producers, and directors that I've had the pleasure of working with!
Reel edited by me. I also color graded all of the films shown in this reel. I don't consider myself a colorist, necessarily, but I'm certainly no stranger to it; just in case you have a very tight budget.
Side Note: I also did the little VFX you see toward the beginning. I have other VFX things I could show, but it honestly isn't very much. I know enough about VFX to problem solve my way to what I'm trying to create. Ultimately, though, this isn't a VFX reel.
I have been studying, lighting, and shooting video for over five years now; however, I have been doing photography for nearly ten years, so my lighting experience dates back further than my video experience.
I am a RED owner, and for a fee, I can come to a production with a rigged out Scarlet in tow, including six hours of battery life without recharging, Canon glass ranging from 24-200mm, 3 Mole-Richardson tungsten lights (total of 4,500 watts), a shoulder rig, tripod, and 60" Cinevate Atlas 10 slider. I'm hoping to add a Cinevate Axis jib soon, along with some more battery and SSD media.
Side Note: I'm kind of a boss with my Glidecam (no vest), but it just doesn't work with RED (too much weight). If you want DSLR or Blackmagic with Glidecam, that's definitely an option.
Of course, I will be more than happy to choose and work with whatever lights and camera system are right for your project's needs/budget. MY GOAL IS ALWAYS A WELL CRAFTED IMAGE THAT COMPLIMENTS THE STORY!
With current cultural trends, I just find it helpful to be able to offer directors and clients an incentive for hiring me. Basically, I can come 4k ready with several camera movement options, and I can bring some lighting along... but you can always just hire my eyes and brain anytime.
Thank you for watching my demo reel, and if you have any questions or would like to talk with me about your project, I'd love to chat with you! Just send me an email and let's talk!
