Some of the most popular American brands - like Gap and Old Navy - are produced in Bangladesh by workers who make very low wages in unsafe conditions. The clothes may come with a low price tag but on closer inspection you'll see there is a human cost. So far Walmart, Gap and others have offered to contribute up 100 million dollars for loans to improve Bangladeshi factory conditions. Walmart earns 400 billion a year in profits.
