Just a test I did mainly to see if I could make speed painting videos... it seems to work. The speed is 3x, the real thing took me about 20 minutes.
I used The Gimp 2.6, of course, for the doodling, RecordMyDesktop for the grabbing and Blender's sequencer for the editing, everything under Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit.

Yes, thanks to David Revoy (from Project Durian) I'm aware of Gimp Paint Studio and I started using it just after this speed (that actually I made a couple of months ago).
Very useful, I must say. It'll show up in future speed paintings.
