Thanksgiving 7D Test

Finally got my 7D and shot some test footage on Thanksgiving. Overall I really like it and will post some additional thoughts at my blog soon (loudpictures.blogspot.com). BTW, I am not a DP. I'm a filmmaker who primarily directs and edits these days, but I do shoot too.

This footage was all shot 1080p24 and is a mixture of AUTO and MANUAL settings as noted via graphics within. Most is not graded until the end I do some side-by-side comparisons (just using the built-in Avid color correction tool).

Lenses used were a Canon EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 and a Canon EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6. The second lens is better than the first, but neither of these are great pieces of glass.
