There was a whole ghost town spread out before us to explore! Houses, barns, sheds and a giant grain tower. We climbed up to the top of the tower through a long rickety ladder and met an owl who lived up there. It was a great spot for him to live as you could see for miles around in all directions. There were all kinds of old cars, all kinds of metal parts and mysterious wooden forms of unknown functions, and even a whole tanker truck. We needed a week here as there were so many cool spots for site explorations! We finally decided on the town hall not only because it still had electricity but because it seemed like the center of the community, where city council would make decisions and people would gather to sing and dance. In our imaginations it was the most karmicly resonate location for us to play. This piece is over twenty minutes long but is only part of the epic improvisation. Unfortunately the tape ran out and we were to focused on playing to notice.
