We object to the drive-up restrooms. Among the reasons: They are not in the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Area as noticed. They are to be placed in an area where Off-Highway Vehicle Use is prohibited, including a Buffer Area according to the County General Plan, and a clam preserve, according to current county ordinance.

State law prohibits SVRA's from locating in other state park system units, such as Pismo State Beach Park Unit.

La Grande Tract, is governed by SLO County, not state law. The operating agreement will expire before the drive-up restrooms can be built.
