Fort Benning recently bid farewell to Brigadier General David Haight who has served as the United States Army Infantry School Commandant and the Chief of Infantry for the past year. He took responsibility of the Infantry School on August 3rd, 2012. Under his leadership, 42,100 Soldiers graduated from Infantry Courses on Fort Benning. As he leaves behind his legacy of excellence, General Haight reflects back on all that has been accomplished by the Infantry School since his arrival and how it will benefit Soldiers in the future.
