This is an editted version I created of a video produced by Challenge - of (very) rough weather sailing on their 72 foot Challenge yachts

I used this in a recent presentation on the Round Britain and Ireland Yacht race I took part in two years ago.

I showed this after the "What offshore yacht racing is *supposed* to be like" video to give people an idea of the reality of blue water yacht racing - which goes on no matter what the conditions are like.

The footage is mostly from the Round the World races - and a number of the scenes are *exactly* as we experienced in the gales we encountered in the Atlantic and northern North Sea.......
