A few weeks ago the Public Safety Dispatch Center received a unique call, from a 6-year-old Corona Resident.
“My mom won’t wake up,” were the first scared words uttered out of Noah Anumudu’s mouth to the 911 dispatcher. Corona Public Safety Dispatcher Teresa Grifitts who took the call was able to send immediate help right away to the child’s residence and stayed on the line until they arrived while comforting the young caller.
On Wednesday, November 6, 2013 both Noah and Dispatcher Grifitts were recognized by Mayor Jason Scott, Police Chief Michael Abel, and Fire Chief John Medina.
