Terry brought his M3 to us with a VF Stage 1 Supercharger kit that VF Engineering intalled earlier this year. He decided to switch to our HPF turbo system shortly thereafter. This was our 5th such swap so I documented the before and after drivability differences along with a VBox and Dyno comparison for Terry and others to see.

the idle issues with the VF kit were almost certainly caused by some kind of vacuum leak.

My M52 behaves in the exact same ways at idle -- i've had minor vac leaks ever since I installed an M50 intake manifold. Only enough to mess with idle.

No the car has no vacuum leak. All VF cars do this. It is a common problem that they have. I had a VF stage 2 installed by VF. 20 smoke and vacuum tests done looking for the claimed vacuum leak. there was none, then a bunch of other owners posted up the same problem.
