Well, there’s just a little less than seven weeks until the Christmas holidays. But it seems Christmas has come a little early to one village in Germany.
Now a local Santa Claus has opened his very own post office to answer letters from children from around the globe. Santa rode his bicycle into the village of Himmelp-fort, 90 kilometers north of Berlin, with a sack full of presents to formally declare the Christmas post office open. Between now and Christmas, Santa and his helpers are expected to receive thousands of letters from children in more than 70 countries.
