El Centro, CA, Airshow 2008. NAF El Centro is the Blue Angels' winter training base and this show is their season opener.
Shot on Canon XHA1, quick & dirty edit with some color grading in Avid Xpress Pro. Compressed in Sorenson 4.5 at 5Mbps, and Vimeo "convereted" it, whatever that means...

TowerFan 5 months agoThanks Joe. Yep, all handheld, hence the herky-jerky. This is the fourth show I've shot, the 1st with the XHA1. That camera is a tank! After reviewing this footage I ordered a shoulder brace and a Varizoom controller. Next one should be much better.
