This video was created to speak out against sexual violence and victim blaming on college campuses. The video was created on The Western Kentucky University campus for a project in one of my journalism classes and the participants were all students and professors at WKU. This video is meant to be a representation of the need to change the conversation about the sexual violence that takes place on college campuses and among college students. It is time for all of those who are members of the university/college community (at every school) to stand with survivors of sexual assault. It is time to end to victim blaming.
Thank you to all of the people who participated in the production of this video. Your willingness to speak about these issues inspires me and reminds me of all that is good in people and in this world. You are all helping to pave the way for a change in the conversation about sexual violence and you have helped set an example for what it means to speak responsibly and truthfully about these issues. For that I am so very grateful.
