Located in Caluaan Laguna, Ang Bahay ni Juan is a relocation site that was built to provide homes for the homeless and those displaced by Typhoon Ondoy. At first glance, the site shows some sort of degradation and abandonment; from the sight of empty houses to reports of malaise and depression experienced by most settlers. Paradoxically despite these manifestations, Ang Bahay ni Juan also can be perceived as an example of how nature and humanity live in equilibrium.
This photo story explores this seeming balance, and in turn also showing that Bahay ni Juan's environmentally-friendly amenity forms the heart of its community.
