This brief movie gives you a glimpse of the process of making macaroon cookies by hand, during a class at the Gourmandise School of Sweets & Savories in Santa Monica, California. I only had about 10 minutes to capture shots during the class and it was a spur of the moment thing to do. If I had more time I would have captured different camera angles and additional subject material. The macaroons were delicious :)
This is my first movie shot with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and have to say the small form factor is convenient and the quality it produces is quite amazing. Between learning the nuances of the camera, settings, lens and then testing and trying various color correction option/sequences, it's time consuming but well worth it. I'm still learning.
