Carolyn Barker currently lives on Gubbi Gubbi land, Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast, is the mother of two young boys, and is also a precious metalsmith whose work draws heavily on Australian landscapes.

Carolyn loves to make beautiful things and works with Aboriginal language workers around Australia helping to make resources and push for the recognition of Australia's first languages. This work inspires her creations and has found her living in Jaru country in the Kimberly, Arrente country in Central Australia and Gunai county in Victoria, as well as many equally beautiful places in Queensland and New South Wales.

Beautiful music by another Sunshine Coast Talent, McKisco
