Activists marched through Chicago's Financial District November 30, 2009 on the 10th anniversary of the Seattle WTO Protests. This action took place against Cap and Trade to demand that an end be put to the use of coal in Chicago and the world. In addition to demanding that the coal power plants in Chicago be shut down, the marchers were also trying to raise the level of public awareness regarding the Mountain Top Removal method of mining coal around the country, particularly Coal River Mountain.
