Boarders Crossing Borders is a documentary film that I made back in 2009 as part of my New Media 3850A: Documentary Film Production class. It was a great learning experience for me and allowed me to have entire creative control throughout the entire project.

"The Medicine Hat Skateboard Association is a group of people who share a passion for skateboarding. Not only do they love to skateboard, but they also desire to use the talents that they have been given to shine a light in some dark places of this world. They have shown that they are committed to achieving the goals they set, regardless of the sacrifice that must be made.

The greatest asset that their organization has is teenagers and leaders who are willing to make a difference in the world around them. These guys are constantly coming up with new ideas on how to do just that. They have shown that they have a passion to challenge themselves and their community and push hard to reach the goals that they place on themselves."
