BEHOLDER is a pseudo-scientific experiment inspired by David Icke's musings on the limitation of the human senses and relativity of perception. The video is a part of a diptych consisting of two 172 x 254 cm canvases. One part is a 1-min silent video projected on blank canvas and the other part is an acrylic painting.
This video is a recording of white noise. The detailed colourful forms were achieved by filming the static on an analogue TV screen with a digital camera, zooming in continuously until RGB overlays were observed on a camera visor.
