Project حرية Huriyya explained - 7 Days of Colour.

Project Huriyya was created to raise awareness of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is the ongoing struggle between Israelis and Palestinians that began in the mid 20th century. Key issues, including mutual recognition, borders, security, water rights, control of Jerusalem, Israeli settlements, Palestinian freedom of movement and finding a resolution to the refugee question, are still far from being resolved. The violence arising from the conflict has resulted in a SHOCKING number of both military AND civilian casualties from both sides, and has been the cause of major Palestinian human rights violations.

These 513 cranes is a symbol of peace between the conflicting parties, and hopes to create awareness around the violation of the basic human rights of the Palestinian people.
The longevity of a civilization is intrinsically tied to how well that civilization upholds the rights of its people.

There is no honourable way to kill, no gentle way to destroy. There's no good in war, except its ending.
