I don't like it either, to many hand and legs going on :) Was it just experiment for you ? I think for GoPro best location if helmet top-front, kinda over forehead... but video it quite good, thank you for sharing... And out of curiousiti - are how far do you live from those mountains? coz it seems to me you almost every day on the slope ?! :)

I use the headband mount as I don't wear the helmet when touring backcountry. It's a bit more jiggly but I like the footage better. The helmet footage is better and I'll post that too. Yup it was an experiment. It's better when pointed up a bit more but the chest mount still has too much hands going on. I live about 5 mins walk from Whistler and about an hour from the Duffy where this was filmed and half the year I live in vancouver about 20 mins bike ride from trails

I like the chest mount on skiers, I like seeing the hands and ski tips, just a bit higher angle on the GoPro would be good cuz you'd get a bit more background

I still want to try handheld, I really think I could get some good shots, pan with passing skiers, change angles while riding etc...
