nice work peter. i think you've done a good job of capturing the essence of what the core inshore angler experiences. both your videos portray the style of fishing that has become so near and dear to me as a new england resident. i think i'll share them with the way upstream community. keep up the good "work".

Fantastic work Peter. Your videos capture what must be the essence of fly fishing, through your eyes, and brought to the viewer's eyes. I have not fly fished yet, but looking at the videos makes me want to jump in.
The music additions are well-matched, and you included some of your falls and slips to keep it real. Great videos to watch on a cold winter day! Based on that video, I know I have to fish Rhody next year.

Where did you get the helmet cam you are using, and what videocam do you use? Waterproof? I've been shooting raw surf fishing videos so far and posting them on here. Haven't had the time to edit. Editing well really ties it all togather.

Thanks for the positive comments DS, I'm going to check out what you've put up shortly...

As for the headcam, it is the POV1.5 from VioSport. The camera head is waterproof, and the recording unit is highly water resistant and may be water proof, but I don't think they market it as such because it's not fool proof and it could get expensive dealing with warantee issues...my $0.02

Peter, thanks for the headcam info.
The video you might be most interested in is titled:
    12-5-09 Fly fishermen need space.
It's currently the 5th one down on the list of raw videos I shot so far. I also showcase them on my site stripersandanglers.com where we have a complete video section for videos. I think Vimeo is way beyond youtube in what it offers the client, and am glad I found this place.
The reason I shot that short video is that I was fishing near a sand bar in NJ, and 3 surfcasters came out and mugged this lone fly fisherman. They boxed him in and he ended up moving.
I thought I could put it out there that he and guys like yourself need a little bit more room, especially if you were there first. Tight lines.

Hi Peter, I stumbled on your first video by accident while looking through the stripersonline website. I kept checking every few days for your sequel, as the first one was great. I really can't wait for the third installment.

Even though I am here in Australia, and we have some great fishing in this country, the striper fishing has really captured my interest. I hope one day I can make it to the USA and try it myself.

I have been wanting to do something like this for a while, and you have really inspired me to make an effort and get started.

Thanks for the great work, and I look forward to more. Richard

Thanks for the comments Richard. I've seen some images on stripersonline of the inshore fishing in parts of Australia and I hope to get a shot at some of those fish one day. Stripers are an amazing fish, but the variety and size over there is amazing.

I expect the final installment should be finished in mid-January.

I,m looking forward to it - can't wait.

I also hope you continue to make these adventures in the future.

If I ever get myself sorted and actually get my own movie done, I will let you know.
