My son Curtis played Conrad Birdie in his high school musical performance of Bye Bye Birdie. It was an excellent production put on by a cast of almost all freshmen and sophomores at a school that is only in its second year. This video includes all his scenes. Quality of video is not great - I took it with a digital camera on movie mode (as surreptiously as possible, so as not to bother other audience members). In a couple of spots it is patched together from when the camera automatically shut off and I had to start it again. But I am mostly just putting this on here for family and friends far away to see. First scene he's in he doesn't have any lines, but it's all about him. The next scene is his first singing/dancing number. One viewer described him as "a cross between Elvis Presley and Kurt Russell". The whole cast was excellent, and it was so much fun.
