A mass hunger strike going on at the Guantanamo Bay detention facility for the last seven months is "effectively over," military officials said. Currently, only 19 detainees are still refusing to eat, down from a high of 106 detainees. But the information coming from Gitmo's officials hasn't always been correct. The official number of people striking and when the strike began differed from what detainees' lawyers and humanitarian groups reported.
