I directed the "talent" for this video--the volunteer board leadership of the American Diabetes Association. The goal of the video was to grab the attention of the audience of volunteers at the Annual Conference of the ADA. Usually board members get up and make speeches, and that's about when the audience takes a nap or a bathroom break. So we wanted to grab their attention using the "road" visual and classic car. My job was to be sure the board members knew their talking points but were relaxed enough to deliver them without a teleprompter, so I was standing next to the camera the way I would for an interview, to engage them and encourage them (after our prep sessions). We got great feedback from the audience and everyone listened! Production design, crew and post were done by my talented colleagues at RHED Pixel, with whom I team on a number of projects.
