On Aug. 25, 1913, a streetcar trolley made its first trip across St. Clair Avenue.

More than ten years later on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, the 152 St. Clair Streetcar celebrates 100 years of service. A week-long celebration hosted by the Wychwood Barns Community Association commemorates the occasion with several events but the most popular was a free ride from Bathurst to Lansdowne streets aboard the TTC's historic streetcar, the PCC 4500, on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
