Project Morpheus - The exploration of Vukovica Vrelo

In July 2013, an international team of 11 cave divers was gathered in Croatia to explore and map two of the springs feeding the river of Cetina. This is the documentation by the Norwegian team Northsea Explorers of their efforts to explore, map and document the Vukovica Vrelo.

Big thanks to the whole team and management of Project Morpheus for this lifetime experience, we are deeply greatful for being part of this important project. We'd also like to thank the local community for welcoming us, feeding us and providing roof over our heads throughout the exploration, and the Cetina factory for arranging a tour of their premises and providing valuable information.

Underwater footage is filmed with a Canon 7D with Tokina 11-16mm in a Nauticam housing, twin 50w HIDs mounted on camera, assorted LED videolights off-axis. Topside footage is shot with a 7D and a 5D3.
