Hi Séamus, I used a DCR-DVD-403 with a Neutral Density filter. Thanks for asking. :) While it doen't have 'all' the film characteristics, I achieved the effect in post production. I made sure in colour correction that there were no true whites, or true blacks. So, the contrast was less than normal, to get rid of some of the information. There were also very faint artificial lense flairs in some shots. Finally I added a fine setting of noise. That's about it.
