Shot on the streets of Sofia, Bulgaria. I shot this for a couple of hours on a 7D and four lenses: EF 50mm f1.4, EF 70-200 f4, Sigma 24mm f1.8, Sigma 17-70mm MACRO f2.8 - 4.5. I edited on Sony Vegas 8 and Magic Bullet Looks. I used a natural picture style on the camera.

    very nice color grading !
    what did you used ? post-traitment ?
  • Teodor Stoyanov 2 years ago
Thanks, I used a preset from Magic Bullet, but I tweaked it in order to get the look that I liked.

really great video, love the colors, the editing and the scenes. and everything with the eos7d!! did you find any problems with this camera?
  • Teodor Stoyanov 2 years ago
Thank you very much! The camera seems to work quite well, the only problem is hand-held shooting when using other than super wide angle lens.

  • Thomas Heaton 2 years ago
I would love to know what grading you used. Any filters on the camera or was it all done in post? I am buying this camera in Jan and would love to know of any problems too.
    Great piece by the way.
  • Teodor Stoyanov 2 years ago
I shot everything with Neutral Picture Style and turned down contrast and saturation even more. In this way you get a much higher dynamic range than when shooting in Standard picture style. This gives you a lot of room for color correction. No filters on the camera.

    Cool stuff.

Seems like there is a ton of aliasing. Compared with your other work, did you change anything in the process of getting it to vimeo? Or is it just that there are a lot more horizontal lines in this particular content?
  •
  • Teodor Stoyanov 2 years ago
thanks, ryan, i haven't changed anything in the process of uploading. I think the aliasing is because of the particular content... I am not really sure though...

  • Teodor Stoyanov 2 years ago
Thank you Petya! The music is from a Buddha Bar compilation, but I can't remamber the name right now. I will post it later.

  • Teodor Stoyanov 2 years ago
No rolling shutter when shooting on a tripod and paning smoothly.

Wonderful film! What was your ISO at for most of this?
  • D.J.G 2 years ago
Oh, and did you stop down your lens to get a natural vignette or was it done in post? Thx :)
  • Teodor Stoyanov 2 years ago
Thanks Dj Granger! I can't really remember what ISO I was at, probably something between 100 and 400. About the vignette, it was done in post with Magic Bullet.

  •
  • Teodor Stoyanov 2 years ago

  •
  • Vito Bonev plus 2 years ago
