This clip was one of many that we shot for a TIMEX spot. This is a small pool of Ferrofluid of about 8 ounces.

Below this pool we utilized a custom contraption to raise and lower a series of small magnets that influenced the fluid's form and created the shapes seen here.

    Seen this used on an installation in São Paulo. It's crazy. I guess a lot of people won't "get it" just by watching the video - they may think it's just a rubber ball with spikes, going up and down - but once you see it in action and understand what's doing, it's pretty insane.
