Hang in there Beth! I broke my back throwing a backflip (and crashing) on skis a few years ago. The doctor said I might "have back pain for the rest of my life, and might not be able to huck off of cliffs ever again."

At the time, it certainly *felt* like he was right, but I refused to live in to that bleak future. I rested when I had to, kept my brain busy and my attitude positive, did 100% of my physical therapy when it was time for that, and I came back way stronger than I *ever* had been before. -Phunk
