Go Media's Katie Major quickly describes the basics of taking a font you designed in Illustrator and getting it into Fontlab and then exporting it as a TTF. A very basic run through of a typical workflow of creating a font.

    Go to View > Lock Layers and then click vertical metrics.
    For some reason they're locked by default.
