Judge John Griffin Explains Judicial Elections
2 years ago
Judge John Griffin explains the process by which judges are chosen here in Illinois. He talks about his appointment to the bench, why he must run for a full term and why -- after they are elected to a full term -- they run for retention and not re-election. Griffin also talks about his work on the bench with foreclosures and explains how he is the only Southland judge dealing with mortgage foreclosures.
