Sally Jacobs' current work focuses on and celebrates Motherhood. Her son, George, who just turned 5 years old, is a wonderful, energetic boy and her main muse. She is gripped, as she imagines all mothers are, with his insatiable curiosity and explosive expression. She is interested in painting how mothers interact with their children. Jacobs says, "This universal question of motherhood is the main idea I struggle with in my paintings.
