Ha ha, funny ending. You should make a more "serious" shortfilm too. I liked the editing and the beautiful shots. The K-X definitely seems to be able to deliver some nice quality videofootage.

Thanks! I'll definitely look into a more serious one in the near future. This was actually more of a tester video (as you can probably tell, not much effort really went into the construction), but wanted to do something slightly different since there are numbers of test movies of the k-x already. =D

Thanks man. Your Baltimore vids were pretty clean too. Real good taste you got there. Oh yeah and also, come join the k-x group man! I'm pretty sure you won't regret it at this price. I'll be waiting for your vids =D

Thanks! It's mostly Colorista and Mojo. Oh and a great big thumbs up for creating this awesome community! "Your Night in Toronto" video gave me the confidence to purchase this camera. Footages taken on the k-x was realllllyyy scarce a month ago... Which reminds me I have a few questions if you don't mind.. I'll ask under the comments section of your video since it's about, well, your video. =D

LOL!!! one of the best i've seen... hahahaha...

What did you use to edit?
  • Alicemagic plus 2 years ago
Hey, thanks for the compliment! Sorry for the late reply. I didn't get a heads up e-mail for some of these comments.... odd.

Anyways, if you're still interested, I used Final Cut Pro for the editing and After Effects for the, well... effects.

Neat editing. Any resources you'd suggest for learning After Effects?

Indeed indeed. Here's a few of the really famous ones that I frequent on a daily basis:

    videocopilot.net
    ae.tutsplus.com/
    creativecow.net
    graymachine.com
    allbetsareoff.com
    greyscalegorilla.com/blog/category/after-effects/

Go through all of em and you should pretty much have a real good grasp of the program. Good luck.

Excellent. I like it a lot. I wouldn't mind if you continue being not-so-serious.
