For "Tools, Materials, Processes: Time" at the University of Michigan's Stamps School of Art & Design.
I decided to challenge myself by doing a performance art piece for the class's final project. The piece was filmed and then set to music.
A visual exploration of the slightly disjointed thematic collection of disease, the psychological aspect behind self-harm, low self esteem, and the difficult process of cutting away old habits and arriving at a new place in life.
Special thanks to Motoki Maxted (equipment, camera work).
