Tim Weingarten, co-founder of social shopping website The Hunt, spoke about how online shopping behavior centers around fashion items in a context. He said, “If you spend your time looking at photos, what you end up realizing is that the things you wear and buy are triggered by these photos. They’re not triggered by going to stores anymore, they’re not triggered by reading magazines, nor by looking at ads or catalogs - they’re triggered by these photos.”
