Rick Curran is a web designer / developer at wideopenspace ltd, since the mid-1980s he has been involved in the skateboarding scene in Dundee starting with the infamous DIY Factory skatepark in Stobswell through to the current outdoor facility in Dudhope Park. He is also currently chairperson of the Friends of Dudhope Park Group (2) and also vice-secretary of the Scottish governing body for skateboarding, Skateboard Scotland.

At Pecha Kucha Night Vol 7, 21st Nov 2013, Rick told us how a few passionate people getting together to skateboard, resulted in getting some great provisions built in the city, for which Dundee's skate culture is well-known today.

PKN presentations are filmed and produced with thanks to Bonnie Brae Productions bonniebrae.co.uk
