Christmas in Cupertino: a Christmas song for Apple fans
At Christmas time, Dutch Apple community website One More Thing likes
to do something special for its readers. Merely a vague idea at the
end of November, it has become a reality today: a true Chrismas song
named 'Christmas in Cupertino' - a festive song for the holidays.
With charming enthousiasm, the song was composed and recorded in two
weeks time. One More Thing were lucky to have famous Dutch singers
Sjarrel & Sjaan agree to deliver the vocal parts. A video clip was
recorded in Apple-loving bar 'The Potdeksel' in the city of Utrecht,
not far from Apple Benelux' headquarters.
The song itself focuses on Apple main men Phil Schiller and Steve Jobs
in their activities in Cupertino in the dark days before Christmas and
- reflecting on a successful business year - pictures them 'dancing
'round the Apple tree'.
Steve Jobs's liver transplant earlier this year is also mentioned.
True to his call for more attention to organ donation at his keynote
earlier this year, One More Thing will donate all proceeds from the
song to de Dutch Liver Foundaction (mlds.nl).
