Should houses be valued, and assessed by buyers, a little more like cars?

Hometta founder Mark Johnson makes this argument, and shares his thoughts on the future of small house construction, at a civic forum that took place in conjunction with the 2009 Rice Design Alliance (RDA) Home Tour.

The civic forum brought together representatives from banking, development and government sectors to discuss ways each of these groups can encourage the construction of more smaller, more efficient houses.

The 2009 RDA Home Tour, which took place March 28-29, 2009, featured homes under 2,000 square feet including Hometta houses 48’ House by Interloop—Architecture and Shot-trot.
