A quick project, this application listens to local national radio station P3, records the online music stream into small MP3 sound bites, which it then sends to The Echo Nest for identification. This video is at 20x realtime speed, and shows an entire hour of radio listening.
In order to be truly parallel, the application is split into two programs: One that does the listening and saving (written in C++, seen on the right), and one that observes the folder and then does the uploading and querying (written in PHP, seen on the left).
See the filenames in order to find the timestamp for each sound bite, and compare the output on the left to this, the official list of tracks played: dr.dk/playlister/p3/2013-12-15/natradio-1503
