This was a school asignment for my Video exam. We were supposed to make a movie of maximum 1 minute length with ourselves visibly involved in it. I don't really remember what triggered me into choosing this theme. I know I wanted the ending to be unexpected..I hope it is :p

To be honest I assumed you were dead even when I saw the thumbnail for the video, so it wasn't a surprise, but that's not a bad thing.
The only thing I'd like to see different is have the whole thing be slower. It could still be under a minute-- just with mellower music, and played at normal speed with jump cuts (I think the fades you used are actually more jarring than the cuts).
Damn it, I'm getting all critical on you. Sorry. It's all meant constructively and with good will :)

I'm not so sure... the thumbnail picture shows some of the facial muscles not quite as relaxed as you'd expect on a corpse, the lips for example are pulled downwards. Also, throughout the video, there are cuts/fades where the head moves positions slightly and the facial expressions are also significantly different in each... so I couldn't tell she was dead already.

Or maybe I just watch too much CSI.

yeh its the lips which give it away ...she looks as if shes trying to suppress a smile .

Well, what can you do? 'Method' acting is out of the question. A massive series of botox injections would also be extreme.
It's the intention of the performance that counts.
