Historian, playwright, scholar of great insight and generosity died in January 2010 at the age of 87. In 1989 Zinn participated in an international conference on anti-communism at Harvard University. His presentation skewered the witch-hunters with devilish humor and a very common sense passion for justice. We present clips of Zinn's talk, taken from the Deep Dish TV film Ends and Means. The conference footage is intercut with lively clips from anti-communist propaganda films and people-in-the-street interviews.
