‘Angels & Equity’ describes a series of events aiming to connect small innovative businesses with investors to secure the support and capital they need to grow. Truestone puts on up to four events per year where a select number of businesses are given the opportunity to pitch to an audience of investors (typically numbering over 150 sophisticated investors). Each business selected has ten minutes to pitch for investment, offering a pre-qualified equity/debt opportunity. There is also a time for networking following the formal presentations. We look for qualifying businesses needing to raise a minimum of £100,000 up to £5,000,000. Where possible we will seek to offer the investment in a tax efficient structure. Aside from the events themselves, we will support and mentor each business before, during and after the pitch, representing their interests as best we can.

‘Angels & Equity’ was set up to help entrepreneurs needing both business support and capital. It is also an open forum for investors to network and invest in tax efficient and innovative early stage projects. Business applications are open to all sectors and all geographies. We particularly enjoy working with businesses who have social impact objectives. Truestone offers a number of professional services and through our client base have access to a large network of investors. Angels & Equity is headed up by Hugo Chance who is supported by a team within Truestone.
