Al Lyons—Hancock Forest Management's Manager of Silviculture, Stewardship, and Safety—and Christy Nichol—Land Operations Manager for the Silsbee, TX area—tell us about discovering a rare yucca species in one of their forests. The nodding yucca was only described by science in 2003, and the population on Hancock's land is one of a very few in the world. Learn more about this unique species and the partnership between Hancock Forest Management, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and NatureServe that will make sure it's protected.
