Infrared LEDs are fun to work with, specifically when you are using them for tracking with Open CV.
However, their biggest problem comes from the change of light during rotation, due to the 30 degree viewing angle.
Here I demonstrate how a styrofoam sphere can fix that, and provide a really even 360 degrees of light diffusion.
