Babylon was protected by a system of double walls. The famed walls of Babylon were indeed impenetrable, with the only way into the city through one of its many gates, or through the Euphrates, which ebbed beneath its thick walls.
It was a kingdom of violence and impure practice like spiritism. The kings of this empire felt secure behind the protective walls and the Euphrat. They could stand a siege of 30 years without suffering hunger or any kind of shortage. And they believed that their many
gods would help them.
But they was not aware that God decided to put an end to this empire.
Jehovah foretold even the name of the conqueror: CYRUS
Certain events are guided by God in order to occur at the right time. In 800 B.C.E. the Euphrate was diverted from it's natural path through a artificial channel. This channel provided the protective water for the ancient city of Babylon. But the flow of the water was not natural, somewhere a dam existed ... and God guided the mind of Cyrus to find this dam and to destroy it. The consequence was a drying up of the waters which protected the city from their enemies.
The Babylonians never expected that the Euphrate one day would dry up. Nobody noticed how during the day the water level sank to a critical level ... but it happened ... and at night they forgot even to close the main gate. Cyrus conquered the city in just one night!
The doctrines of the False Religion originated from the ancient Babylon:
- Immortality of the soul
- Trinity of gods
- Mother of gods
Their main god was Nimrod, who killed his father and married his own mother Ishtar.
The Empire of Babylon was destroyed, but their spiritistic practice survived till our days in all False Religions.
The Obelisk also originated from ancient Babylon and represents the genital of Nimrod.
Babylonian religion is all about sex and power, but not Truth!
Imagine if a true worshipper of God would place such a symbol like the obelisk in his house or courtyard. Or imagine Jesus would come to visit you and would find such a offensive symbol in your house. But False Religion does not care, because they worship Satan and Nimrod as their idols.
"Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth." (Matthew 6:10)
God's first act as ruler will be the destruction of the False Religion!
"For God put it into their hearts to carry out his thought ..." (Revelation 17:18)
There is no way to stop it!
For sure there are still some honest people in there. Therefore God warns his loyal people:
"Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her
in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of plagues." (Revelation 18:4)
